UPDATE 10/16

Just wanted to give you all and Update. Not sure if I will be able to Put any more kits up or not this year.  I am working on the Christmas Kit. And Hope to get as much as I can done of it.  But I am not sure how the next couple of months will go. I am going to have to go in the hospital for By-Pass surgery on my Subclavian Artery. It is 100% blocked right at my aorta. I will find Oct 10th when the procedure will be done, What I have to expect afterwards as far as recovery is concerned. 

The Blockage caused me to have what is Known as Subclavian Steal Syndrome.  My arm is stealing blood meant to travel to my brain. It is has caused my blood flow to in reverse. This is blood

needed to get oxygen to my brain. It has caused my BP to be extremely low in my Left arm, In June I started having a lot of issues I can not stand long with out getting dizzy and feeling as if I will pass out. I also get bad headaches and blurred vision at times. It is rare to get this but the fact I am left handed most likely helped to make it become symptomatic.
Update 10/162017

I am scheduled to have a 2nd heart cath tomorrow. He wants to look and see how bad my left carotid artery is blocked. If it is over 60% block he is  also going to repair it. I am not scheduled for my bypass surgery Nov 12th at 1 pm. That time could move up but the Date will stay the same. I do my preop registration on Oct 25.  He said he would try to only keep me overnight only as long as I promised to stay on bed rest for at least 3 to 4 days.  But of course that depends on how things go during the procedure.  I surely would rather be at home to recover than in a hospital any day lol.  Any way this is the latest up date for me.

But a tragic event happened and I never got it uploaded. 

On Jan 22 around Noon I got a call that My youngest Daughter's Husband Died. This was a very tragic event for our family. Mike was only 42 years old. And he leaves behind not only my daughter but  my 11 year old grandson and 8 year old Granddaughter.

UPDATE NOV 16

Just a few Lines to let you know what is going on with my Christmas Kit. I have got the kit ready all but the Preview..  The kit will be Full of Elements, Papers and Frames as always, However due to something going on with Dog Teddy who is 12 years Old I will not be able to
do a full preview. I will put some samples of things that show of the colors and some of what to expect to find in it.. But it will not be a full blown Preview.  So Hopefully within in the next couple of days I will have it on my blog But that all depends on how things go. Today I have to watch my Dog closely.

My dog has been sick for a about 3 weeks. Actually with 2 different things.. But we got a little bad news yesterday..What we thought was and Abscess was not.  I could tell the Vet was very shocked by what she found and flat said she had never heard of or come across a Hematoma like he had. That it is more or less 50/50 as to whether the hematoma will clear up on it's on or not with the medication she sent home.  Another thing she had never seen blood drawn over an hour ago that still Looked as if she had just been drawn it. In other words his blood is not clotting period and the medication is to help it do that so they hematoma can hopefully heal. The other thing was it actually had a pulse and hematoma's should not have a pulse in them.
The procedure is very expensive from what the Vet said. The MRI alone which would have to be done to determine what exactly needs to be done. is $1500.00 I just do not have that kind of money if she is correct. Teddy has cost me $340. In just 3 weeks time already. She said that his breed only has a life expectancy of 15 years. That at 13 she would not recommend any client to go into that kind of debt. If would be different if he was a young Dog. But his life expectancy is only 15 years. I am going to call around and see I can just get a Vet to talk to me with out wanting to charge me To answer one question is that costly to get it repaired. If it is up in to the $1,000 of dollars I just do not have that kind of money..
 As of now it is not causing him distress. But it is effecting his throat as well as pushing his gums in to where he is biting on his gums. So soft food diet for now.  And his eye is slightly bulged Out. on Top of this the eye near all this has glaucoma.. And if he heals from the hematoma it would need treatment.

 They want to wait at least a Month cause she says it could take that long to heal if it will heal on its own. But I have to Let it sink in that if the medication does not work. And he show any signs of distress. The decision may have to be made to put him down.   The fact that just 3 years ago my Oldest Dog Passed Away on Dec 10, 2013. So knowing that is not helping matters.

Anyway I apologize that there is a delay in putting my Christmas Kit up. But right now I just have to watch my dog.. Mainly to make sure his mouth does not start bleeding where he put the syringe in and pulled the blood out. Nor I am in the mood to work on or do much of anything.. My heart just is not in it today.

NEW TEMPLATES ADDED

I decided it was time to work on a couple of templates. It has been awhile since I added in to my blog... One I had done but kept forgetting to upload it.. The other one I made this morning cause I could not sleep. It is very hot here in Alabama.

 We have heat warnings out for tomorrow.. It you are in the area where the temperatures are suppose to be very hot. Do be careful it you get out in it..

  

If you know in elderly or Disabled that live alone try to help check on them. But most of all if you can donate a fan or a little money to a place that helps people with out air conditioning to at least have a fan during these Temperatures. Even $5. would help.. you just might help save a life.. 

I can't help but to think about all the people that can afford the luxury of running their Air or even taking the money to get a fan. Cause some barely have enough left over to buy food and get their medications.  

I think about these people Cause I know what it is like to live on a small government check.. It is not easy at all.. 

Also because a child coming in the south we did not have air conditioning. I can remember how hard it was to get to sleep on those really hot summer nights. The sweat rolling off of us. But our temperatures back then were nothing like they are today.. I am spoiled now like a lot of us I run my air and enjoy it thanks to my Son living with me and helping me. With out him I would be one of those that did not have the money for what we would consider a luxury like Air Conditioning, cable and internet.. And some even consider their heat a luxury they can not afford.. I know one year When I was living alone and trying to make ends meet I did not want to run my air. Especially after I got a $300. bill. I like to have passed out. And mind you I live in a very small 2 bedroom place with only about 900 square feet.. Downsizing sure did not seem to help with that electric bill though.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Well Happy New Year I Know I am late in Saying that.  But The New Year Came in with me having Pneumonia. I sure was not celebrating New Years Eve that is for sure.  I was sick about 11 days total. I got sick on Christmas but I thought it was just a cold. Well I kept getting worse instead of better even though I was taking over the counter medication. I finally broke down on Dec 30th and Went to an Urgent Care cause I was pretty sure I had pneumonia by then.   I hate going to Doctors and hate ER even worse.  So I am go glad they have urgent care places now.  After they got all the test back and my blood work showed my blood count was low. Sure enough it was pneumonia in both lungs.  They gave me a shot of some strong antibiotics and steroids.  Well now they send in the prescriptions electronically. They failed to tell me what all they sent in to the drug store.  I was only told by te doctor he was putting me on antibiotics.  So I never thought twice when the drug store only gave me one bottle of medicine.  Well 4 days later I called in some refills. and there was some steroids pills among my refills.  Looked at who sent them in and it was the Doctor from the Urgent Care.  I put a post on their facebook page telling them that they needed to make sure patients knew exactly what medications were being sent to their Pharmacy  so they would know exactly what to pick up.. Really they should give you a summary of your visit with your diagnosis and the medications they are sending in. Most places do that.

 I don't always get around to answering is because On Days I am feeling up to it,  I am usually in Paint Shop trying to create something new for you.  I am always working on  several different ideas at the same time.  I have really gotten into trying to create things from scratch. It is not an easy task you often sendt stuff to the trash bin. But I keep plugging away at it.

I want to thank All of you that took time to comment and Thank Me. I sure do appreciate it very much. A while back Gmail said I could not use my server email address due to a company using it. Not sure how that happened since I had it since 2007. They  gave me a new email address.  Well I forgot all about updating where my notifications were to be sent. So I was not getting notified  about new comments. That is fixed now. I also am very forgetful at times. Which can annoy me. (and my children too!) ;')
